yeah the fact that she told her husband everything was find to go back to bed, makes you think she's just a liar

they're showing the rocks right now. the big one was 16 lbs that she used on the oldest boy. then a 10lb on the smaller and a 3 1/2lb one on the baby.

she's on the 911 tape just as calm as can be. says she just did what she had to do, that she did what she was chosen to do by god.

I wish they'd let me have at her with a rock. she'd be "with god" pretty damn quick

there are some really fucked up people in this world. Of all the terrible things out there that I hear about on the news, the stories about children being killed are what get to me the most. Especially when it's a parent that did the killing. What kind of monster kills a little child? How could someone do that to their own kids?

and what's really scary is that just anyone can have kids. psychos, abusers, molesters..anyone. there's no way of preventing someone who is unfit to have and raise children from fathering/giving birth to them. not until they've done something like this, get caught, and end up in prison or a mental home. not until they've done the damage already.

my dad worked a lot of different jobs when he and my mom were first married, and when my sister and I were really young. for a time, he was a diver/volunteer fireman for one of the fire departments in florida, pulling bodies out of the canals. I really don't know how he did it, especially as he has the weakest stomach I've ever seen. he can't deal with dead animals..I don't see how he managed to deal with dead people.

we've got "regulars" people that abuse the 911 system with the ambulance and some of them have had the state take away their children everytime they have them. they take one away, the person has another and it goes on and on.

you wouldnt believe some of the awful things I've seen done to children. its sad as hell. we try and give our kids the best we can and some try and make their lives hell. I think thats why its such a big deal when we do the toy drive. at least you might be able to give something back and make a kids day brighter for a bit. its just amazing some of the things they're put through.

probably shouldnt have posted this here, but when you think of toys, you think of kids and this just bothered me when I saw it. here we think of the small things like finding toys and getting aggrivated and stuff and there are idiots out there doing this to kids. not that we can change it or shouldnt have the right to gripe about the small things, but maybe it'll keep things in perspective a bit.

and if I never had to see another dead or dying kid in my life it would be too soon!

I'm really burned out on the job after so many years of seeing really rotten stuff. the firefighting part is always kind of fun because you dont fight all that many all the time. with the medicine side of it though, there's always something going on medically.
